Welcome to our new website

Donate

As an independent charity, we rely entirely on donations from the local community. Around 95% of our income is generated locally on the Isle of Wight. It costs around £750,000 each year to run our Animal Centre. Your donations help us to support the Island’s most critical animals with veterinary care, medical treatment and enrichment programs.

Support from our local community is essential to our work. All monies raised help rehabilitate and rehome vulnerable animals on the Isle of Wight.

You can help by donating in one of the following ways…

Donate online

The quick and easiest way to donate is online via our website and through our Enthuse page Please Donate to RSPCA Isle of Wight Branch. Through this page you can make a one-off donation or set up a monthly direct debit. Make sure to tick the GiftAid box if you are a UK taxpayer as this increases the value of your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you.

By Cheque

Make sure the cheque is made out to RSPCA Isle of Wight Branch. Please send any cheques to  RSPCA Animal Centre, Bohemia Corner, Merstone Lane, Godshill, Isle of Wight, PO38 3NA and include whether you are a taxpayer, we can claim Gift Aid which allows your donation to go 25% further at no extra cost to you.

In Memoriam

Losing a loved one is hard, whether it’s a relative that had a love of animals or a beloved four-legged companion with whom you have shared many memories. Collecting donations in memoriam of them is a great way to share love and keep their memory alive. Supporters have asked to collect donations at a funeral, in lieu of flowers or raised funds on their anniversaries/birthdays.

Leaving a Legacy

Leaving a legacy is one of the most meaningful ways that you can support the RSPCA on the Isle of Wight. Over the years we’ve used legacies to develop the facilities at our Animal Centre and help many thousands of animals in our care.

We’re an independent charity (no 205311), affiliated to the National RSPCA. Please specify in your will that you wish to support the Isle of Wight Branch  – see HERE for suggested wording and further details of giving a legacy.

Donating Unwanted Items

Our charity shops we are always looking for good-quality second-hand items. If you have any clothing, books or bric-a-brac that you’d like to donate, please call into your nearest shop, during regular business hours. See details of our Charity Shops.

Animal supplies are always very welcome – for example food, treats, leads, collars, carriers or food bowls. Whether your pet is no longer interested in a particular brand of food or you’ve sadly lost your companion we can ensure most items go to a great cause for animals in need. Some items are sold in our shop to raise funds. We prefer pet related items to be dropped off directly to our Animal Centre in Rookley.

Our annual Christmas Appeal has been supported by many individuals and businesses. Our animals appreciate donations of food, treats and toys at any time of the year, but especially during the festive period.

Charity Collection Tins

There are a number of Donation collection tins scattered across the Isle of Wight. Ideal to get rid of any loose change! If you’re a business and would like to have a collection pot – please contact fundraising@rspcaisleofwight.org.uk.
