This is Bella, She is a 2 year old Cane Corso that came to us due to a change in circumstance in her previous home.
Bella is a very affectionate dog once she gets to know you, she can be anxious on a first meeting but with a bit of time (and food!) she quickly warms up and will be following you for attention and fuss. She loves cuddles and laying on the the sofa with her friends here at the center. Because of her size and age we feel she would suit a home with no other pets and could live with children of secondary school age.
Bella has shown at the center to not have the best doggy social skills and can be overexcited to see other dogs. She doesn’t quite know how to play properly yet but is trying and she may benefit from someone that is happy to teach her some of the basics she may have previously missed out on.
When she came into the center Bella did have an ear infection which she is currently being treated for. She also has cherry eye but we are working with our vets to get this operated on and sorted for her.
